Ok imagine the first photo is the left, then the middle then the right hand side. Iykwim!! Will be having the patch till about the middle of the first picture as I don’t want to be too close to the big tree. To the left of that will remain a wild area I think. The current patch is to the right of the 3rd picture behind the wall bit.

How much further does your garden go on to the left, behind the tree? Have you some big sheets of cardboard or offcut of carpet or something to put down and start killing off the weeds? Looks huge! Exciting to have all that space though!

it only goes another 2 metres or so past the tree. There’s a big pile of topsoil (covered in weeds!) there too so I’ll be using that when it all gets sorted. That’s just this side of the house, there’s much more at the other side!! I can’t even begin to think about what I could do there.
I’ve got loads of boxes after the move so yes I’ll be doing that. Won’t start tackling it all properly till the autumn though I don’t think.
